Our Club, currently celebrating our 20th year, and in recognition of the wonderful work carried out by the late Irene Reid, will be publishing Irene's Cookbook this year. It will make a great Christmas gift with all net proceeds going to an appropriate charity.
 
In the early period of the Club, Irene's cooking and catering skills, contributed immensely to our fundraising efforts. With Bob Reid's support and under the leadership of Jenny Hartnett and the input of many team members who were close to Irene, we are assembling and testing Irene's recipes and developing the first draft. We will add other recipes to the mix and publish a professional and moving story about Irene's rich life.
 
Last weekend we had over thirty members bring along a meal based on one of Irene's hand-crafted recipes. They were all carefully photographed by Michael Small before being enthusiastically devoured by the crowd. In a word...delicious!
