Consumer Protection

Next Tuesday 21st January at our breakfast meeting in Leura, we have a special Guest Speaker, Adjunct Professor Rod Stowe, PSM, FRSN.

Rod formally retired from the NSW Public Service in 2018 following a distinguished career spanning 41 years. Over this period Rod spent 30 years in the Fair Trading/Consumer Affairs portfolio in various positions. Best known for his achievements in consumer protection and he was one of the architects of Australian Consumer Law. Since his retirement Rod has continued to be involved in consumer and community advocacy. He works across several organisations and community groups here in the Blue Mountains.
