Philip currently oversees bushfire resilience projects in the greater Blue Mountains region for Habitat for Humanity Australia. Previously a journalist, in 2008 he joined the United Nations Volunteers program headquarters in Germany and in 2012 was posted to the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Cambodia. After the UN he worked with non-profits in Cambodia on various disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and water and sanitation projects. In 2016 he relocated to Australia, where he has worked in stakeholder engagement roles with volunteer organisations such as the St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies) and Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

Belle Tukin is an artist, writer, outdoor enthusiast, disability rights activist and researcher. She has worked in peace and conflict through national inquiries, conflict analysis and currently helps lead the work of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation against People with Disability as an Assistant Director.
As a woman with disability herself, she is passionate about seeing young people with disability thrive, living lives free from violence, systemic neglect and inequality. She has a particular interest in the intersection of environmental justice, and the inclusion and leadership of people with disability as we continue our lives on a deteriorating planet.
In her lifetime, it would be her hope to see those that often come last, come first.
